Swift Industrial Power, a family-owned business, sought a fresh approach to connect with their audience and attract new customers. Before this project, their main marketing tactics consisted of their sales force hitting the pavement and knocking on doors of potential customers. Then the pandemic hit… making their opportunities for face-to-face contact essentially nonexistent. Determined to adapt, Swift searched for innovative ways to engage their target market. A stroke of luck arrived when they were sent a video mailer book that caught their attention, combining the personalized, trustworthy charm of physical mail with the limitless advantages of video marketing. As you can guess, that’s where we come in!
Swift approached us to create engaging video content to use in their desired video mailer campaign. Together, we devised a game plan: three tailor-made videos, each designed to resonate with one of their three distinct target markets. These videos would set Swift apart from their competitors in a truly distinctive way.
Each of these videos was crafted with its own creative direction and script, ensuring they were customized perfectly to their respective target audiences. We spent time shooting at some of their current project sites, along with at their main location, capturing footage that displayed their different services and expertise. Once we had the goods, we combined the footage with fun animations and voiceovers to craft captivating videos to use in their mailers!
With 3 variations of engaging video mailers in hand, Swift came up with a plan to get them into the right hands. They determined decision-makers that could benefit from their services, and were intentional about sending their mailers to only the absolute best possible contacts. Then, the mailers were sent out in FedEx envelopes, arriving on the doorstep of potential customers ready to play. The mailers were a huge success for Swift, capturing the attention of clients that had been previously unattainable. From their DC Power Slide mailer alone, Swift gained around $100K in business, and saw a largely decreased customer acquisition cost. Along with the mailers, Swift also continues to use these videos on their website and social media, giving them a sustained use and benefit!
This was an incredibly rewarding project, giving us the opportunity to flex our creative muscles for not just one, but three exceptional videos. We so enjoyed working with Swift, and continue to work with them on various projects to this day!
