Annie Thomas is a Knoxville native and proud UT grad who’s all about storytelling. She’s impressively creative and loves getting to bring her ideas to life through video content. She spent some time creating video content for UT’s Athletic Department, so she’s great at working in fast-paced and exciting environments.

She now serves on our Run-And-Gun team, producing and editing creative, quick video content for digital and web placements – things like TikToks, Instagram Reels, and YouTube content. She thrives while catching important moments and turning around edits that immerse the viewer completely.

Annie and her amazing husband, Austin, are dog parents to their fur baby Lilo. Outside of the Slate, you can find her hanging out with family and friends, cheering on the Vols, or hitting up a local brewery.
